Oil Love

I have been a Young Living Independent Distributor for a short while now. I went to Convention in Dallas for the first time in August and loved all the info and the experience in general. So inspiring! It was the first trip that I have taken in many years. Needed it.

Essential oils came into my life upon the heals of horrific health issues for my sister Tricia. She was, at that point, bedridden from the affects of all her ailments and autoimmune diseases. And I was desperate. Her prescriptions and intravenous biologics were not working anymore. In fact, they were starting to contribute to her demise. I wanted to find homeostasis, holistic health in all areas of her life. Less stress, peace, more nutrition, better supplements, better diet, better air and environment, and less drugs.

It took 93 days from the day we started using essential oils. And not just any essential oils. I did a lot of research before committing to a company. Many friends clamored after my signup, or just contacted me to say, “Hey! Have you used essential oils for Tricia?” So after I bit the $ bullet and had that Young Living kit in hand, I started applying them regularly. And bought a eo desk reference guide and found that their were recipes to use for specific health issues that she had. Mom and I started pooling our finances and ordering the more expensive oils, the ones that Trish needed. Every day, twice a day applications. Ninety-three days. And boom! She got up, told me that she was going back to work, and she did.

Almost two years later, and I catch her easing herself onto the ground, changing the lawn mower tractor’s tire, and then pulling herself back to her feet.

I cried.
